Ukrproduct Group

Ukrproduct Group is Ukraine’s leading manufacturer of branded dairy foods such as cheeses, butter and skimmed milk powders. The Group commands market-leading positions in its segments of operations, has modern plants certified to the ISO standards and operates a pan-Ukrainian distribution system. By the time of an IPO in February 2005, the Group re-arranged the management control and the ownership structures, underwent an IAS/IFRS audit, and created a transparent system of corporate governance. In Ukrproduct’s IPO, Trust Capital Group performed the roles of the IPO Co-manager and Adviser to the Company. The preparations started in late 2003 and lasted through November-December 2004, a period now commonly known as the “Orange Revolution”. Despite the reservations concerning a peaceful outcome of the events, the investors put their trust behind the investment proposition and quality of the business. As a result, Ukrproduct Group became the first Ukrainian company to list on the London Stock Exchange's AIM in February 2005. The offering raised £6 million Pounds Sterling, the market capitalisation of the Group at the time of the IPO was £22 million pounds. Post-IPO, Ukrproduct Group continues to develop dynamically and to strengthen its market-leading positions. The group sales in the latest financial year to 31 December 2005 were £40 million Pounds Sterling; operating and net profit, £3.5 million and £2 million pounds, respectively.
